When and where is the festival held?
The festival will take place on Sunday, 11th October, 2026 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone, Co. Westmeath from 10am to 6pm.
This central location provides easy access for attendees from all over Ireland.
How can I purchase tickets?
Tickets are available exclusively through our own SHOP PAGE. We recommend booking in advance as space is limited within the venue, so be sure to secure your tickets early. We may have a small number available on the day, depending on demand, but these will be strictly first-come, first-served.
When attending, please have your ticket RECEIPT (this will be emailed upon purchase), as your order number will be your ticket number.
Is the venue accessible for all visitors?
Yes, the Radisson Blu Hotel is a fully accessible venue with dedicated parking, and accessible restroom facilities throughout the festival area. The Midlands Fibre Festival takes place on the ground floor of the hotel, with step-free access throughout.
Do I need to book workshops in advance?
YES. Workshops will be free of charge, but do require to be booked in advance to those running workshops can plan ahead for the number of attendees. Limited tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please check our WORKSHOPS page regularly for updates.
What is the festival's refund policy?
We offer full refunds on visitor tickets up to 30 days before the festival start date. Within 30 days of the event, tickets are non-refundable, but they may be transferred to another person.
Can I volunteer for the festival?
Yes, we may be accepting a small number of volunteers for the day. If you are interested, please use our CONTACT FORM.
Is this a dog-friendly event?
No, unfortunately the venue does not allow dogs or other pets, with the exception of certified assistance or service dogs.
