What to Bring

Prepare for a day of creativity and comfort. Here is a practical guide on essentials to bring to make the most of your visit to Athlone.

Comfortable shoes. The event is inside, and there is plenty of seating available, but there is a short walk from the parking lot or train to the hotel entrance.

A reusable bag or sturdy tote to carry home your yarns and new local handcrafted goods from our exhibitor marketplace.

Tea and coffee will be available, and there is a Bistro on site for a bite. A refillable water bottle and light snacks to keep your energy high as you explore the festival.

Your favourite current project, notebook, or patterns for inspiration and sharing with other makers.

Payment options: bring both card and cash, as some smaller businesses may prefer one over the other. The venue is centrally located, with ATMs nearby, also.

A spirit of curiosity and a deep love for all things related to sustainable fibre and local craft.
